Provider Online Services
Registration
Practitioners can submit registration for all BHP members on-line via a secure Internet connection. After verification that BHP manages the case, practitioners will receive notification that the registration has been accepted or declined (and the reason), as well as the initial authorization via the software application within one business day of submission.

Authorization
Practitioners can submit treatment plans for authorization via a secure Internet connection. Although the format is different, the required information is similar to the BHP Treatment Plan and supplemental forms. In many cases, the provider will receive authorization for services within an hour. If the case requires peer review, the provider will receive notification within two business days of the approval or denial. For subsequent requests on the same patient, the practitioner can access the previous treatment plan, modify it, save it as a new document and submit it.

Security
BHP has taken into account all state and federal security, including HIPPA, requirements in designing the on-line registration and authorization processes. Our system security meets these requirements.

A Few Points to Keep in Mind:

  • Both on-line processes will not accept incomplete data.
  • BHP’s Reviewers are available to discuss any case or utilization decision at the request of the practitioner.
  • The Practitioner is able to print out any clinical information they enter.
  • The Practitioner will receive notification within the software of the outcome of the registration or prior authorization request.
  • For all utilization decisions, BHP sends its standard authorization or denial letter, as applicable.
If you are interested in utilizing any of these online applications, please contact BHP via e-mail at webapps@bhpnet.com. BHP staff will contact you to start the process. They will talk with you about technology requirements, providers and support staff who will be using the system, etc. We look forward to working with you.

BHP Online Systems
BHP The 3 online systems that are useful to BHP credentialed practitioners are: 1 - Integrated Behavioral System (IBS) – This system allows electronic exchange of information between practitioners, programs, hospitals inpatient units, etc. for patients seen in crisis at any of the Diagnostic Evaluation Center (DEC) locations, given the proper release of information by the patient or legal guardian. Use the following link https://www.bhpnet.com/ibs/userlogon.asp to access this system. 2 - Online Intake and Authorization – This system allows practitioners to submit initial authorization requests, treatment plans and discharge summaries. This system eliminates the need to call BHP to request services, handwriting, faxing or mailing authorization request, treatment plan and discharge summary forms. Use the following link https://www.bhpnet.com/online/userlogon.asp to access this system. 3-Schedule in the Sky – This system allows BHP credentialed practitioners and/or programs to set aside open appointment times for BHP’s intake department and the Diagnostic Evaluation Center (DEC) locations to use for patients who are in need of outpatient mental health services. Use the following link https://www.bhpnet.com/schedule2/default.aspx to access this system. To access each system you must have a User ID and Password. To request a User ID and Password, click on the link below and print the BHP System Acccess Request Form, fill it out and fax, email, or mail to BHP. Otherwise call 763-486-4424 for further questions.
